On #NPWW, we’re highlighting the behind-the-scenes professionals keeping #KingTownship thriving. 👷 King’s Parks and Forestry division plays a vital role in maintaining safe, attractive and accessible outdoor spaces. During the warmer months, they care for 33 parks, 250 acres of parkland and over 900 acres of municipal properties, trails and open spaces (playgrounds, outdoor sports facilities, passive spaces). They also support new park development and infrastructure upgrades. In winter, the team manages snow removal at parks and facilities across more than 26 acres. 🌱 The Forestry team manages the Township’s tree canopy year-round—maintaining roadside and park trees, responding to resident inquiries, coordinating planting efforts and providing emergency response when needed. Their work helps keep King clean, sustainable and vibrant for current and future generations. 👉 Learn more about King’s parks at king.ca/parks.
