3D printing wizard? An anti-hurry engineer? He’s all of that and more. Meet Hasan, our System Engineer! Hasan is in charge of dealing with how the Tovertafel is brought to life: from the hardware to the engine that runs our games. His path to us was a “happy accident.” While helping a friend research Tover for his thesis, Hasan realized he’d found exactly what he was looking for: a place to combine his love for gaming, his talent for systems engineering, and work that actually makes a difference in the world. Hasan will always skip the “quick patch.” He’d much rather take his time to do things right the first time and build long-term solutions, a mindset that makes him great at what he does. As long as he has his morning coffee, some Tool or Porcupine Tree on his headphones, and enough focus time, he will make things happen. Outside of work, you’ll most likely find Hasan outdoors (sometimes skiing) or building something of his own. He’s recently gotten into 3D printing to create gadgets that make his life easier. A custom ergonomic keyboard? A missing piece for his bike? You name it, he can print it! What inspires him is making the workday easier for those on the front lines of care. Hasan pays close attention to what caregivers think of the Tovertafel, because he knows they’re the ones using it every day. “It should make their jobs easier, so I want them to have the best experience possible,” he says.
