The second series of 'Dermot's Taste of Ireland', starring TV and radio presenter Dermot O’Leary, will air across Great Britain on ITV1 and streaming service ITVX from tomorrow (2 May). The 10-part series, produced by Rock Oyster Media and supported through the Shared Island Tourism Brand Collaboration Project, features two of the island of Ireland’s most iconic coastal touring routes – the Causeway Coastal Route and Wild Atlantic Way.   Viewers are in for a treat as Dermot journeys from Blackhead Lighthouse on the Causeway Coastal Route to Sligo’s Strandhill Beach on the Wild Atlantic Way, exploring his passion for the island of Ireland, its people and cuisine along the way. Featuring a fantastic mix of unique and unmissable adventures, we are confident British viewers will be inspired by Dermot’s journey and make plans to come and explore the island of Ireland for themselves.   The production of this series of 'Dermot's Taste of Ireland' complements ongoing collaboration by Tourism Ireland, Tourism Northern Ireland and Fáilte Ireland – in consultation with the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment (Ireland) and the Department for the Economy NI (Northern Ireland) – to forge greater links between the Causeway Coastal Route and Wild Atlantic Way. The Shared Island Tourism Brand Collaboration Project is funded by the Government of Ireland through the Shared Island Fund.
