Ten Canadian travel agents who work with TourRadar – a major adventure travel platform – have been exploring the island of Ireland this week, as guests of Tourism Ireland, Fáilte Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland. They are here to find out more about our superb tourism offering, so that when they return home, they will be better informed and more enthusiastic than ever when advising their clients about planning and booking their holidays in Ireland. The group’s itinerary took them to Belfast, Mid Ulster, Derry-Londonderry and Fermanagh and then on to Leitrim, Longford, Kilkenny, Kildare and Dublin. The action-packed programme included walking tours, boat trips, cookery demonstrations, museum visits and distillery experiences – showcasing just some of the island of Ireland’s culture, heritage and food and drinks offering, as well as our spectacular scenery.
