Every June, something unusual happens in Dublin ... 📖 The city steps back into 1904 for Bloomsday, an annual celebration inspired by James Joyce’s novel Ulysses and its famous journey through Dublin. The book follows one character, Leopold Bloom, across the city over the course of a single day: 16th June. What follows is part literary tradition, part city-wide celebration. Think live music spilling out of pubs, people dressed in Edwardian fashion, performances on historic streets and conversations that carry long into the evening. Many visitors even retrace locations connected to the novel as part of the experience. And no, you don’t need to have read Ulysses to enjoy it! Save this for your next trip to Dublin, or send it to someone who’d love to experience this. 📍Dublin city
