Emirates and Etihad Airways are introducing new insurance initiatives aimed at enhancing traveler confidence and supporting the UAE’s tourism sector. Starting in July, Etihad Airways will provide complimentary health insurance coverage for up to 15 days to all eligible international passengers arriving in the UAE through a partnership with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism and Daman. The program will run until December 2026 and is designed to give visitors greater peace of mind while exploring the destination. Meanwhile, Emirates is developing a new travel protection policy with insurance partners that would help passengers return home even in the event of unexpected travel disruptions, regardless of the airline operating the return flight. The initiatives come as the UAE continues to strengthen its position as a global tourism and aviation hub, with Emirates serving more than 137 destinations worldwide and Etihad operating over 80 routes. #UAETourism #TravelInsurance #Aviation #Tourism #Hospitality #TravelIndustry #Dubai #AbuDhabi #TourismInsights
