Booking.com’s latest Travel & Sustainability #Report reveals a surprising gap between intention and action across generations. While 85% of travelers globally say sustainable travel is important, younger generations, Gen Z and Millennials, express the strongest intentions, yet older travelers are more likely to take practical steps such as reducing waste, conserving energy, shopping local, and traveling off-season. At the same time, climate realities are reshaping travel behavior across all age groups. Extreme weather is now a major factor in decision-making, with nearly three-quarters of travelers considering it when choosing destinations and timing. Many are actively avoiding overcrowded or high-risk locations, with a growing shift toward cooler climates and off-peak travel. #SustainableTravel #TravelTrends #Bookingcom #ResponsibleTourism #ClimateImpact #TourismInsights #Travel2026 #EcoTravel #FutureOfTravel
