💻Today, TotalEnergies signed a contract with Dell Technologies and NVIDIA to design and install Pangea 5, our next-generation high-performance supercomputer, hosted in Pau, France. It will multiply our computing power by six. Concretely, this means: •⁠ ⁠more accurate subsurface imaging thanks to advanced seismic engineering •⁠ ⁠faster exploration supporting low-cost, lower-emission hydrocarbon production •⁠ ⁠stronger #AI capabilities to better understand complex systems, from subsurface to integrated power models Pangea 5 is also designed to improve energy efficiency, with ~40% lower consumption at equal performance and heat recovery on site.
