I am pleased to share that our first-in-human Phase I study of B440, an oral WT1 cancer vaccine using a Bifidobacterium vector, has been published in JCO Oncology Advances. In this study, B440 was evaluated in patients with metastatic urothelial cancer refractory to standard therapies. The trial confirmed its safety profile and showed induction of WT1-specific cellular immune responses, supporting further clinical investigation. I would like to sincerely thank the first author, Dr. Hideto Ueki, the principal investigator, Prof. Junya Furukawa, Prof. Hideaki Miyake, all collaborating physicians and clinical trial teams, and everyone who supported this investigator-initiated trial.
