Integrated. Tested. Ready for the field. Toshiba Control Gear integrates metal-clad switchgear and JK motor control centers (MCCs) into a coordinated solution for medium voltage power distribution and motor control. Built with vacuum circuit breakers and contactors, the system supports applications up to 7.2 kV and 3000 A, including transformer feeds, power factor correction, and Sync-Xfer operation. All switchgear, MCCs, and drives are assembled and tested together at Toshiba's Houston facility. Each unit is verified individually, then tested as a complete system, including full lineup string testing and Sync-Xfer validation using unloaded medium voltage motors. This approach helps identify surface integration issues early and supports more efficient installation and commissioning.
