🗞️ 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗱 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝟭𝟵𝟱𝟲-𝟭𝟵𝟲𝟲: 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲𝘀 (new article out now: https://lnkd.in/e5ViBeYY) In 2026, Torvald Klaveness turns 80 and in part 2 of our 8-part anniversary series, we look at the decade where Klaveness moved beyond individual ships, and started rethinking how cargo could be transported. From fertilizer and cement to alumina, this was the period where bulk shipping began to take shape. Our pictured vessel, M/S Mosjøen, was built specifically for these trades, marking a clear shift toward more specialized shipping. 🤝 The decade also marked the start of vessel pooling, with the establishment of I/S Bulkhandling in 1963.
