Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management-Import Operations

This week, we hosted Jason Evans and the divisional team at the Charleston campus. The visit was awesome, and served as a great opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come. Using the five polynomials-Safety, Quality, Service, Cost, and Morale; we were able to share a clear story of transformation. Each area shows real progress, driven by stronger process alignment, deeper collaboration, and a culture of ownership, something all leaders and associates are extremely proud of. 🔹 Safety: From reactive to proactive—safety is now owned by every level of the organization. 🔹 Quality: From chasing issues to preventing them—quality is built in, not bolted on. 🔹 Service: From reacting to anticipating—AI and process arm collaboration are driving agility and smarter responsiveness. 🔹 Cost: From figuring it out to scaling smart—AI and cross-functional collaboration are helping us optimize, not just reduce. 🔹 Morale: From being measured to being felt—our teams are more engaged and connected than ever. This wasn’t just a visit—it was a checkpoint in a story of growth, alignment, and transformation. We are so proud of our campus, and honored to lead all associates who continue to help the campus progress. Many thanks to Jason Evans, Derek Maxwell, Mustafa Karagoz, and Keyon White for the insight, encouragement, feedback, and support. Dan Thurman Jorge A.
