Toronto Metropolitan University - Department of Chemical Engineering is pleased to recognize the outstanding achievement of our students at Engineering Day held on Friday, April 24. The Dean’s Capstone Design Poster Award was presented to the team behind the project “Chemical Upcycling of PET to TPA – Driving Circular Economy in Ontario.” This accomplishment reflects the group’s strong technical expertise, innovation, and commitment to advancing sustainable solutions within the field of chemical engineering. Their work highlights the importance of circular economy principles and the impactful role engineers play in addressing environmental challenges.
