One of the best parts of my job is seeing what happens when students are given an opportunity and choose to make the most of it. This week's Scholar Sessions features Tess Meggison (Drake University) and Campbell Valline (Iowa State University ) — the 2026 Excellence in Media Award winners from our Media Plan Case Competition. They came in as political science students with zero media buying experience. They left DC with a first-place finish, a network of industry connections, and a pact to move here together next summer.
