Antigen-specific tolerance has the potential to fundamentally change how we treat autoimmune and immune-mediated diseases.   Instead of broadly suppressing the immune system, the aim is to selectively induce antigen-specific immune tolerance while preserving normal immune functions.   At Topas Therapeutics, we are advancing a liver-directed nanoparticle platform designed to target liver sinusoidal endothelial cells (LSECs) to induce antigen-specific immune tolerance. Learn more about our technology in our seminal platform paper here: https://lnkd.in/dvncvaZV   We’re looking forward to joining the Sixth Newcastle Therapeutic Tolerance Workshop later this month at Newcastle University, bringing together leading experts from academia and industry to discuss the latest advances driving therapeutic tolerance research forward.   Our Chief Medical Officer, Cristina de Min, will contribute to the scientific program with a presentation on July 1. More details to follow. If you’re attending, we would be happy to connect.   📍 Newcastle upon Tyne, UK 📅 June 29 – July 3, 2026   Learn more about the workshop here: https://lnkd.in/eK9hgS-z   #AntigenSpecificTolerance #ImmuneTolerance #AutoimmuneDisease #CeliacDisease
