AUSTRACISED NO MORE It's almost three years since Qatar Airways was banned from expanding its services between Australia and Doha. The Australian Government claimed that more flights by Qatar Airways were "not in the national interest" without explaining just what that was. Now, as part of a wider announcement on expanded air service agreements, the government has suddenly announced that Qatar will be allowed to operate seven flights per week from the new Western Sydney International Airport, due to open in October his year. New flight rights, signed not just with Qatar but also three other countries, are designed to increase Australian air connectivity to international markets. In the national interest. #australia #airlines #aviation #internationalflights #sydney #westernsydneyinternationalairport #qatarairways #themaldives #elsalvador #uae #emirates #etihad #flydubai #virginaustralia #qantas #jetstar #maldivian #competition
