Publishing negative data? It still can be very important. Sometimes publishing a negative result is just as interesting (maybe not too some journals!) since testing theories and determining whether they hold up is the basis of science. Congrats to Mabel Lee Lindsay Kroener Robert Roman, my #coopersurgical colleague Jenna Miller and my former PhD student Alessia Schadwell (congrats Dr Schadwell) and #FertilityandSterility for this publication. Cancer predisposition syndromes such as the BRCA syndromes often impact DNA stability and as such it's long been a theory of the authors as to whether for cancer predisposition PGT-M patients have increased levels of aneuploidy compared to other PGT-M patients. The short answer is no. There is no difference except maybe for some highly advanced maternal age patients. It's a "negative" result but still answers an important question for those carrying a cancer predisposition syndromes and considering PGT-M. Well done for #F&S publishing this study. #PGT-M
