Many people are afraid of getting a Sales job...even Lars van den Bos at the beginning, and most try play it cool (hiding fear) by saying it's not my thing. Fact is: to sell is to solve others' problems, which is always a meaningful, rewarding thing to do. And to become a competent, effective problem solver...you've got a lot to learn, both professional knowledge, hard & soft skills. Without a strong empathy, motivation, energy, consistency, sincerity and hardwork one would not thrive in a Sales/BD role.
