When my mother was a teen, her dream was to pursue a career in international law, but her father forbade her because it was not a respectable profession for a lady. Due to this and other circumstances, she was forced to follow a different path and has always wondered “What If”. On this International Women’s Day, my wish is for the dreams of girls and women not to be tarnished by the norms established by society. I promise to do my part to break down those barriers, so there are less “What If’s”. As a man, a son, a brother and an uncle, I think I am sensitive to the needs of women, but I am certain I have a lot of unconscious biases that I will need to continue to overcome, thank you for the many women who help me to be a better human being. #amazingwomen #inspiringwomen #IWD2020 Some of these amazing women, leaders, mothers, daughters are..… Monique Clúa Braun Ana Longoria Linda Daou Bedran Leticia Leon Gonzalez Eva Maria Ruiz de Castilla Almudena Suarez Elizabeth Gonzalez Cisneros Tarciana Caricio Carlucci Luz Sosa Fabienne Deaton Catalina Ricaurte Suany Orrego Carvajal, M.D. Leticia Contreras Karla Fuentes Arellano Tracy Haller Laura Mckeaveney Irene Arguedas couzette K.
