š¢ Excited to share our latest publication in Applied Energy: Data-driven predictive modeling for water source heat pumps: Toward digital twin development for energy stations š https://lnkd.in/erwdf5R3 This collaborative work between the Birmingham Centre for Energy Storage, University of Birmingham, and Wuhan University of Technology presents a Digital Twin-driven framework that integrates IoT, AI, and predictive analytics to enable intelligent operation of large-scale energy stations. š¹ Developed a Digital Twin-oriented architecture for intelligent energy station management š¹ Achieved prediction accuracies exceeding 98% for chilled water supply and return temperatures in a real operating WSHP system š¹ Enabled real-time operational forecasting and decision support through DT-AI integration š¹ Demonstrated the pathway toward closed-loop predictive control for future smart energy infrastructure Many thanks to all co-authors and collaborators involved in this work! #DigitalTwin #AppliedEnergy #AI #HeatPumps #SmartEnergy #EnergySystems #NetZero #Decarbonisation
