Europe’s industrial future won't be built on production capacity alone.  It will also depend on how intelligently we use the materials already in our economy. Circularity is much more than an environmental topic. It is about competitiveness, resilience, and resource security. That is the core message of Towards a Circular Europe, a joint position submitted as part of the Industrial Accelerator Act consultation.  Together with other European organizations, TOMRA is calling for acknowledging a circular economy as a prerequisite for a competitive Europe. One that values secondary raw materials, scales reuse and recycling infrastructure, and keeps resources in productive use. Circularity is not the soft side of industry.
