Returning bottles and cans should be easy, even when you have a lot of them. 👇 In Apeldoorn, that idea has taken a new step forward with the opening of Gelderland’s first Deposit Return Shop. Opened recently by Apeldoorn mayor Ton Heerts, the shop was developed together with Statiegeld Nederland, part of Verpact and operator of the Dutch deposit return system. At the center is a TOMRA multi-feed machine, making it possible to return up to 100 containers in one go. Visitors can receive their deposit in cash, through Tikkie, or choose to donate it to Bio Vakantieoord. A practical step for circularity in Gelderland, and a special one for TOMRA Collection Nederland in the city we call home.
