Building on the first week in the U.S., week two in Canada is complete. Visited Sudbury, where Sandvik has a major and growing operational footprint in Greater Sudbury, focused on mining equipment service, rebuilds, and electrification. Continued to Sturgeon Falls, home to Sandvik’s Ground Support manufacturing, delivering critical safety and stabilization solutions for underground mining and tunneling. Also visited Norgalv, Sandvik’s state‑of‑the‑art hot‑dip galvanizing facility, protecting steel components against corrosion and strengthening the Ground Support supply chain. The Northern Canada tour concluded in Winnipeg, a core manufacturing and assembly hub for Sandvik Mining, specializing in underground drilling equipment. Thank you Peter Corcoran, Brad Atkins, Jesse Plaunt, Jeff Linfitt, Ryan Fisette, @Stephane Lacroix, @Charl Pohlmann and teams! Impressive to see the depth of capability and collaboration with Country IT across Sandvik’s Canadian footprint. #Sandvik #Mining #DigitalShift #AdvancingTo2030
