Just survived one of those classic New York days that starts chaotic and ends inspiring 😎 Thinking I’d smoothly hit my meetings but multiple Knicks players decided today was the day for a victory parade, completely locking down the streets - thank you #TreyJemison III🏀 Ended up dodging crowds like a seasoned New Yorker, squeezing through gaps just to make it on time. Nothing builds character quite like a parade rerouting your entire schedule. But the real highlight was the Israeli Cyber Club NYC event last night, put together by the always-impressive Guy Franklin - Israeli Mapped in NY Arvin B. (CISO at C&S Wholesale Grocers) spoke about turning people from different business units into actual builders. The idea that more folks will start thinking like product managers - building internal tools, replacing heavy SaaS licenses, and driving real cost savings - really resonated with what I hear across tech forward companies. Sameer Jain (Wholesale CIO at Nomura) shared how he stays open to startups at all stages of maturity, advice us show the concrete value we deliver today, not just the shiny vision for tomorrow. We also had a good sidebar chat about the future of education and making sure the AI wave doesn’t leave non-technical people behind - learning by example and closing those gaps matters. Grateful for nights like this. Always walk away thinking bigger and sharper. What’s your best “NYC parade chaos” story?
