A LOOK BACK AT ANTWERP FASHION FESTIVAL 2026 For its very first edition, Antwerp Fashion Festival became a stage for fashion, art and imagination throughout the city. Tom Van der Borght was present across three locations, each offering a different encounter with the work. At Antwerp Central Station, PONYVIS, a twelve metre inflatable creature, half horse and half fish, welcomed visitors to the festival. It transformed one of Belgium’s most iconic public spaces into a landscape of imagination, curiosity and play. At Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp and Donum Antwerp, the dialogue continued in a different rhythm. More intimate. More reflective. A space where fashion, art and identity could meet and challenge one another. The festival also marked the first presentation of BEYOND THE BODY, a research project at the intersection of fashion, art and academia, exploring normativity through seven mannequins. While the festival came to a close on June 7, part of the story continues. At Botanic Sanctuary Antwerp, 7 Ways To Be T.VDB, Wall Carpets, AI Art and Wall Totems remain on view until July 28. At Donum Antwerp, the 7 Non Normative Bodies, Wall Carpets and Wall Jewels remain on view until August 25. Visit while you can. Join our tribe.
