General Counsel, Retail Banking at Lloyds Banking Group
After 10 great years at Lloyds Banking Group, I’ve decided to move on from my executive career later this summer. It’s been a privilege to serve on senior executive committees and in two key roles at LBG: General Counsel for Litigation, Regulatory & Competition, and, more recently, General Counsel of Consumer Legal. I’m proud of the legal, technology and business teams I’ve worked with — from managing complex legal portfolios, including litigation and risk management, to navigating significant regulatory change and supporting the business through a period of rapid transformation and growth. I’m also very grateful to colleagues across LBG for their trust, collaboration and good humour over the years. I’ll take away close friendships and great memories. From the end of July, I’ll be moving to a portfolio career focused on non-executive roles. I will continue my current NED roles at NHS Resolution and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. I’m also pleased to be taking on the role of Chair of the Standards Board at ACCA, alongside an additional NED role as member of the People Committee at NHS Resolution. I’m particularly interested in exploring NED opportunities where I can contribute experience in governance, regulation, consumer business, risk and transformation. There are still a few months to go at LBG, so I look forward to saying thank you in person. In the meantime, I would welcome reconnecting — please do get in touch if you’d like to catch up.
