I’m saddened to report former KSTP-TV news anchor Stan Turner passed away Sunday after a three-year battle with cancer. He was 81. He was a mentor to me when he taught at the University of St. Thomas. I had a great visit with him in hospice on Thursday. Tom Oszman of TC Media Now does a great job preserving history of local television news. He also worked with Stan Turner and nominated him for Pavek Broadcasting Hall of Fame.
