Supported by Toll, the 2026 Club Championships at Christmas Island Golf Club brought the local community together for a fantastic few days, and we’re proud to see moments like this thriving in such a unique part of the world. Did you know that Toll supports aviation operations across both Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, working alongside the Australian Department of Infrastructure to help keep vital connections moving? From transporting people to enabling the flow of essential goods, our teams navigate tropical conditions and remote logistics to support daily life on the islands. 🟢 Christmas Island is an Australian external territory in the Indian Ocean, located roughly 2,600 km northwest of Perth and 350 km south of Indonesia. Often referred to as the ‘Galápagos of the Indian Ocean’, it has a population of just over 1,600 and is well known for its biodiversity, with many rare species of animals and plants, including the Christmas Island Red Crab. 🟢 The Cocos (Keeling) Islands, with a population of about 600 people, are part of Australia and situated in the Indian Ocean, some 1,270 km south-west of Jakarta, Indonesia. The 27 tiny islands are known for their beautiful beaches and lagoons. Being part of these environments goes beyond operations – it is about contributing to the communities we serve no matter how big, small, or remote. Congratulations to all the winners, and to the entire community for a great event. #TollGroup #Community #RemoteLogistics #Aviation #AirportManagement #StrongerTogether
