Honoured to participate in the Global Finance Capacity Building Program on Artificial Intelligence for Inclusive and Responsible Financial Ecosystems hosted by the Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) and Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance in Beijing and Chengdu, China. The programme brought together regulators, policymakers, central banks, and financial sector professionals from across Africa, Asia, and other developing regions to explore the evolving role of AI in financial inclusion, digital finance, payment systems, consumer protection, SupTech, and regulatory innovation. It was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, learn from China’s digital finance ecosystem, and engage in discussions on building safe, inclusive, and resilient financial systems for the future. Grateful for the experience and the opportunity to connect with fellow policymakers and industry experts from around the world.
