After the appointment of Carlos Eduardo Scott Moreno as the new manager of Boliviana de Aviación (BoA), he assured that his priority will be to provide economic sustainability and transparency to the company and will seek the efficiency of the airline, the possible expansion of international destinations. Scott also assured that he will listen to the BoA Workers. "Everyone will be welcome in my office, the workers know many details and that is why we must listen to them," he said. Scott will replace Juan Carlos Ossio, who will still remain in office until Friday. The new manager explained that although he was appointed to the position on Tuesday, by the Minister of Public Works, this process (of appointment) must still be formalized. The government, dismissed Ossio on Monday from the position of manager of BoA. Hours before, the Minister of Public Works, Services and Housing, Iván Arias, asked the manager for his resignation through a letter; however, the latter rejected that request, stating that his appointment was for five years.
