Geschäftsführer bei secuvera GmbH, OWASP Germany Chapter Lead
Nominated for the OWASP® Foundation "Chapter Person of the year" WASPY award. What an honor 🙏 What is this Award about? "The purpose of these awards is to bring recognition to those who “FLY UNDER THE RADAR”. These are the individuals who are passionate about OWASP, who contribute hours of their own free time to the organization to help improve the cyber-security world, yet seem to go unrecognized." https://lnkd.in/efCexTym My "OWASP only" Bio: Tobias joined the OWASP community in 2007 and became an official member in 2008. He founded the OWASP Stuttgart in 2009 and led it until the pandemic—happily handing it over to new, energetic leaders who have revitalized it since. Tobias has contributed in many roles over the years: he led the OWASP whitepaper (in German only) "Pentest of Web Applications") project in 2009 (you can find it here: https://lnkd.in/eHQJFP6Y) He was elected to the OWASP Germany Chapter Board in 2011, and became its Chapter Leader in 2012, still holding this role. He contributed to the German translations of the OWASP Top 10 several times. Tobias co-organized many German OWASP conferences and has been the sponsor liaison for many years. Since 2012, he has ensured OWASP's presence at Europe’s largest cybersecurity fair, it-sa – Home of IT Security. He joined the OWASP Policy Review Team in 2020 and the Chapters Committee in 2023 to support chapter leaders worldwide." As an OWASP member, you should have received an email containing the ballot. I would, of course, be more than happy if you voted for me. The best thing about OWASP for me: It's the people I've met and learnt from. I tried to tag you, but there are too many of you! I've only tagged the ones who are active in the OWASP German Chapter Board, the German OWASP Day Team and on LinkedIn at the moment.😊 Bastian Braun Dr. Boris Hemkemeier Björn Kimminich Jasmin Mair Jan Wolff Dirk Wetter Lilith P.
