After more than 10 years in VC, I’ve realised this is still exactly where I want to be. I genuinely enjoy the work, and it feels like it only gets more exciting the longer I stay in it. I decided to take on the mission of co‑leading Loom Ventures because it lets me build the kind of fund I believe in: a clear thesis, a focus on investments where our conviction is highest, and close work with founders. At the same time, I can draw on STRABAG’s industrial expertise and network as one of the leading infrastructure companies in Europe, which gives me even better ways to do what I find most rewarding in this job: being useful to founders.
