📈 Strong numbers, strong projects, strong prospects! At yesterday’s general meeting of the TITK Support Association, our Managing Director Benjamin Redlingshöfer was able to present an extremely positive report: The TITK remains financially sound, is experiencing high demand from industry, and has reached a new record high with 67 ongoing research projects currently underway within the group. 🚀 The year 2025 was exceptional in many ways for the research institute as well as its affiliated companies, OMPG mbH and smartpolymer GmbH. A particular highlight was the completion of the laboratory and pilot plant building for the new Innovation Center for the Textile Circular Economy (#DICE), which was built in record time and will reach its full potential in the coming months. ♻️ TITK also made a significant impact internationally: Two exhibits were presented at the German Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, showcasing how application-oriented research from #Thuringia is attracting global attention. In addition, new collaborations were initiated both domestically and abroad. 🌍 Yesterday, several successfully completed research projects and new innovation ideas were presented to the general assembly and discussed together with the Scientific Advisory Board. An intensive exchange provided valuable input for future research projects in the areas of composite research- with a focus on aerospace, among other topics - as well as the circular economy and textile recycling. We are also pleased to welcome two new members to our ranks: A warm welcome 🤝: ➡️ POLYKUM e. V. from #Merseburg ➡️ Axiotherm GmbH from #Eisenberg We would like to thank all our members, business partners, and employees for their trust, support, and hard work. Together, we are developing the materials and processes of tomorrow! #TITK #Research #Innovation #MaterialScience #TextileInnovation #CircularEconomy #DICE #AdvancedMaterials #ResearchAndDevelopment #Technology #IndustrialResearch #Sustainability #SmartMaterials #Thuringia #TechnologyTransfer #Recycling #Upcycling Deutsche Industrieforschungsgemeinschaft Konrad Zuse e.V.
