Since World Mental Health Day was last week, I thought I would share an article I read about the struggle of burnout. Illustrated through a patient named Elliot who, despite taking a break from his demanding job, fills his time with activities instead of allowing himself to rest. It made me reflect on how often we fill our schedules with activities, thinking that staying busy equates to being productive. Yet there’s something transformative about embracing stillness—learning to pause, breathe, and just be. Sometimes, stepping back is the best way to refresh our minds and boost our productivity. It’s not just about avoiding burnout; it’s about giving ourselves the space to think clearly, to recharge, and to engage with our work and lives more meaningfully. https://lnkd.in/gWhnMNha #WorldMentalHealthDay #Burnout #Mindfulness #Productivity
