𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱? 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Skipping the break in phase is one of the most common causes of premature roller and idler failure. 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘀 to protect seals, avoid overheating, and keep your machine ready for work. ✅ 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴, rotate track rollers, carrier rollers and idlers a few turns in both directions to protect seals and help oil flow. ✅ 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀: avoid long, continuous travel. Stop every 5 minutes, then move a short distance in the opposite direction to support oil circulation. ✅ 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲: use slow travel mode. Check lower rollers and front idlers for abnormal temperature. ✅ 𝗠𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝘁-𝘂𝗽𝘀: if you install one or a few new rollers on a worn undercarriage, watch temperature closely for 200 hours (new parts carry a higher load). ✅ 𝗔𝘃𝗼𝗶𝗱 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, such as lifting the machine and counter turning the undercarriage: this can cause early structural damage. Extra tip? 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻 of the undercarriage components after every replacement.
