Prof. Aslı Akyol Mutlu is one of the Speakers of GalenDays’26 Resume 📑 Aslı Akyol Mutlu graduated from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Hacettepe University in 2006 and, in the same year, was appointed as a Research Assistant in the Nutritional Sciences master’s program at the same institution. In 2007, she was awarded a scholarship by the Council of Higher Education of Türkiye and commenced her doctoral studies in Nutrition Sciences at the University of Nottingham, United Kingdom. She completed her PhD in 2011 and subsequently continued her academic career at Hacettepe University. She was promoted to the rank of Associate Professor in 2016 and to Full Professor in 2021. In 2022, she received the “Science and Sustainability” award at the Study UK Alumni Awards, organized by the British Council. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Dietetic Association and as the Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics at Hacettepe University. She continues to conduct research and projects in the fields of nutritional sciences and nutritional biochemistry and actively involves in teaching at undergraduate level, postgraduate level and to external organisations through short training courses.
