Gustav Klimt's Faculty Pictures and their loss at Immendorf Castle is my brand. Klimt's Faculty Pictures were his masterpieces. Analyses of this set of paintings and their fate is long overdue. The 2025 ORF documentary on this topic, Klimt-Bilder – Das Kunsträtsel von Immendorf, uses my foundational work inappropriately, though I provided the original backbone research and was the central figure in the film. Currently, I am disputing this matter. See: https://lnkd.in/dcE_TsNg. I have investigated the loss of these cultural treasures for more than twenty years, not the director of the ORF documentaries. The director is not a historian, not an art historian, and not a restitution expert. He is a presenter of my work, not the originator. He is confused about this point.
