I always start out my Stanford University class by saying "The mark of a great student is not measured by what they know, but by the quality of the questions they ask. So I want you to learn to ask good questions. Many of my public company CEOs who have been guest lecturers comment that the questions are better than they get from their employee, board, shareholders and customers.
