I solve problems by creating new software

I doodle during meetings. Stick figures, small landscapes, the corners of whatever notebook is closest.                                                                         For a while I've been wondering what those drawings would look like if they could move.                                                                                 So I started inking each pose on paper, photographing the page, cutting the figures out, and animating them along paths. I draw over the photographed sketchbook. One evening pair-coding with Claude gave me a small helper for the cutting and the stitching.                                                                                                                     The thing I didn't expect: building the workflow is more fun than watching the result (which is fun as well). Every new piece pushes a small craft problem — last one was getting figures to disappear behind a fence, this one was getting a heart to come out filled in instead of as an outline and and and.                                           First video below — meet the walkers.
