When I finished my education, I felt stupid. My high school friends got fancy jobs at brand name companies with big salaries. I went to work on a small business that had no mission. The office was located in a terrible part of town. Crime everywhere. They used to make gravestones out the back.  The dust from the old machinery soaked the air.  The roof was made of asbestos. Dangerous.    Pretty soon my high school friends reached their limits.  They were burning out from all the hours. I chipped away at a little business. And it failed big time. I lost in the short-term. But what I walked away with was the creativity I learned from studying music at school, and real-world business experience of starting something from scratch. Many salary jobs hold your hand like a baby. But a career is built when you learn to do things yourself & own the outcome. #Careers #Education
