What a horrible, sad news 😢 Michael van der Straaten was not just CEO at Antares…for many of us he was much more that this…a true leader, but above all a kind, friendly, warm person, a true gentleman… I met Mike almost 9 years ago when he joined our company and worked more closely with him for last 7 years where I tried to do my best to make his regular business trips as pleasant as possible… Mike was not like any other CEO, his office door was always „open“ and if you needed some advise or just answers to questions, he always found time for a call or reply… In few occasions, due to business requirements, Mike contacted me over weekend for urgent business trip changes…but his first words were:“ Sorry to bother you on the weekend Tilen“ …that was Mike, always caring about the person and putting human aspect in front of business… Sincere THANK YOU for all you have done for me and give me the opportunity to learn so much in all these years under your leadership… My thoughts and prayers are with his family and close friends… R.I.P. Mike, you will be deeply missed… 🙏🏻❤️🕯️
