H.E. Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency, visited the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he reviewed the latest progress of the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt (EMA) and developments related to the MBR Explorer. Led by the UAE Space Agency in partnership with LASP, the Emirates Mission to the Asteroid Belt is one of the UAE’s most ambitious deep space initiatives. As a strategic partner in this national endeavor, TII contributes Emirati talent and technical expertise across critical engineering disciplines. During the visit, members of the national mission team shared key milestones and updates as preparations continue toward the mission’s planned 2028 launch.
