✨ One of the most heartwarming moments I’ve had in hospitality came last weekend in the North Tower. I met a guest named Mrs. Simpson and her son, Clyde—a 12-year-old musical prodigy who left a lasting impression on me and everyone within earshot. Clyde doesn’t read sheet music. He simply listens… and plays. His mother told me that the first time he ever touched a piano, he was in a nursing home. After hearing someone play a song once, he sat down and played it back—note for note. No training. No music sheets. Just pure intuitive talent. Every day he came down to our North Tower lobby her at the #Omni , he would float over to the piano and play something more complex than the last. And every single time? I tried to stay focused on work—but nope. I’d catch myself standing there, completely caught up in the moment like everyone else. These are the memories that make me so thankful to be in this field. Hospitality isn’t just about check-ins and service—it’s about presence. It’s about those rare, magical moments when someone—especially a child—shares their light and reminds you what beauty really is. Thank you, Clyde, for the music. And thank you, Mrs. Simpson, for sharing your incredible son with us for a few days. I’ll never forget it. 🎹✨
