Two Houston teams & one incredible week in Seattle. Financial Fortunes and Climate Shield AI both won the Best in Customer Validation Prize at TYE Global 2026. These students went from pitching in a virtual Houston competition to winning on a global stage in a matter of weeks. From games to climate tech to prediction markets, the range of ideas coming out of Houston high schools is remarkable. Proud of these teams and the TYE Committee (Dr. Ravi Brahmbhatt, Srividhya Vaidyanathan, Kenya Burrell-VanWormer) who built the program that got them here.
