Yesterday, Flau'jae's mother decided that - as her daughter's manager - she wanted to speak ill of everyone from the South Carolina Gamecocks to Dawn Staley to the WNBA. I'm trying to understand why she would risk her daughter's status as her cash cow for the family in doing so. Flau'jae is rumored to work with: Powerade, Foot Locker, Roc Nation (alleged rapper), MassMutual, Experian, Google Pixel, Samsung, Meta, JBL, Taco Bell, Orea, and 3x3 league Unrivaled. The reports show that though she's signed by volume the 17+ brands she works with have only added up to 1.5 million. Which would be akin to the average quote of a mid-level microinfluencer. I've seen a lot of parents use their kids to make money, it's never spoken about in Hollywood, but we all know 15% of the money is all that is needed in the child's trust account. That's not good enough. Yes, Flau'jae is grown. She's in her 20's now, but if Kia is the future of parents in management positions, then agents are doomed to endure the constant PR nightmare that, in my opinion, Kia J. Brooks is.
