During the Easter break, I went to Miami with 43 other student from across Flanders, organized by MadExperience . During the trip, we attended inspiring sessions at Florida International University , where we learned about self-leadership, confidence and the 3:2:1 Strategy. A huge thank you to Mihaela Plugarasu, M.S. , Nancy Chang and Albena Petrus for making this possible! We also visited the Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation at Nova Southeastern University, where we enjoyed an impressive tour of the campus. Thank you Jaap Donath, Ph.D. for organizing this visit and for sharing valuable insights into pitching and entrepreneurship. A highlight was ending up first with our pitch-great recognition of our teamwork and preparation. We also had the chance to go behind the scenes at the JW Marriott, which was a unique and valuable experience. Besides the academic days, we also made time to experience and enjoy Miami. We spotted alligators in the wild, explored the Everglades by airboat, admired the breathtaking mansions during the cruise, and experienced the thrill of the famous speedboat ride!
