A warm welcome to our new joiners, Agnes and Luke! We are thrilled to have them on board to assist our Research team and actively work alongside our Director of Science, Alexandra Livia Georgescu, PhD to advance gamification within our mental health monitoring tools. šŸ Agnes Norbury is a computational neuroscientist and holds a PhD in Neuroscience. Her expertise lies in using theory-driven models to delve into ways of thinking associated with common mental health issues. Agnes has a keen interest in combining information from tasks and games to better measure cognition changes during low mood, stress and anxiety. ā€œI am excited to contribute to the development of new ways for tracking mood and thinking so that people can get the help they need when they need it.ā€ šŸ Luke Emrich-Mills, fresh from completing his PhD in Clinical Cognitive Neuroscience, has focused on investigating cognitive markers of Alzheimer's disease using virtual reality and eye-tracking. He is most interested in how data-rich, intelligent and engaging digital technologies can improve the way we detect and treat mental illness and cognitive impairment. ā€œI am looking forward to utilising my experience in developing digital cognitive assessments to create new gamification avenues for thymia.ā€ #mentalhealth #neuroscience #team #thymia
