Voila ✨ Now before you fully close out that project Save The Social Savannah's ad QA checklist And do a pass through it first We hosted Savannah Sanchez for a 58 minute deep dive on how her team produces 200+ ads per week for clients like Bumble, Athletic Greens, and Loop Earplugs. One of my fav frameworks from her session? Her QA ad production process 📌 Save Savannah Sanchez's two QA checklists for ad production 1) Creator Footage Checklist Before sending footage to editors: Did we get all clips required from the shot list? Do we have all voiceovers? Do we have enough variety in clips to assemble a great ad? Do clips closely follow the inspiration link? Is lighting up to standard? Is the product presented correctly and used correctly? Is acting believable? Do testimonials look authentic? What are they wearing? Facial expressions? Energy levels? Does it match what we're looking for? Is setting appropriate? "Sometimes creators will film in their messy closet for a random product. And I'm like, no, don't film in your closet. You need to be out in some good lighting." Is HDR turned off? Otherwise saturation gets messed up in post. Any distracting elements? Camera shake? Smudges on lens? Audio quality? Fans, AC, construction noise in background? Is voiceover convincing? "We want to make sure that their voiceover doesn't just look like they're reading off a script." Pronunciations correct for product and brand name? 2) Editor Review Checklist Before sending to client: Time lengths correct? Too long with filler? Too short to convey message? Clips sequenced in a timeline that makes sense and is easy to follow? Everything aligns with script? Sizes correct? Safe zones respected? Spelling or grammar errors? She provides line by line text for editors to copy and paste. Fonts easy to read? White text on white background is a problem. Effects too distracting or do they match brand vibe? Can viewers follow text with and without sound? Legible on phone screen, not just computer? Closed captions correct? CTA present? Music choice matches vibe? Any intense dropoffs or level changes in music or voiceover? Lips match up when speaking? Voiceover volume balanced with music? Pro tip from Savannah: "I like to always watch the ad with sound off, especially if you are prone to overlooking spelling errors." Final check: review the client's dos and don'ts list against the final ad. "Doing these little checks beforehand will save you so much time in the revision process." -- 👋 P.S.
