Pharma has spent billions on supply chain technology. Yet most teams still find out about stockouts after they've already become shortages. It's not a technology problem. It's a priority problem. The industry invested in tracking shipments and optimizing routes, but forgot to give supply chain leaders the one thing they actually need: real-time visibility into what's about to go wrong. A drug that works but isn't on the shelf doesn't help anyone. Right now, too many supply chain teams are reacting to crises they could have seen coming.
