#Carinthia gaining momentum: Intermodal connectivity well on its way to European top level With the new direct connection Villach / Klagenfurt – Graz – Vienna – Brno – Prague (from 14 December 2025, 3x daily #ComfortJet operated by #Českédráhy, another milestone in Carinthia’s international accessibility is being set. Thanks to the #Koralmbahn (Koralm Railway corridor / track), #Vienna and the key economic areas along the #BalticAdriaticCorridor are moving even closer together. #Graz is already “around the corner”. The German #ICE / Deutsche Bahn connects Frankfurt – and many other hubs – via Carinthia with Graz. #Italy and the #BalkanArea / #SoutheasternEurope (overall #CEE is taking on far greater significance, with #AlpeAdria firmly established) is increasingly better connected, and from an intermodal perspective, the combination with Klagenfurt Airport (KLU) and Flix / long-distance coach services adds further dimensions.
